Video Captures Horrific Aftermath of Arkansas Tornado: 'My Heart Dropped Out of My Chest When I Heard Those Screams’

"My heart dropped out of my chest when I heard those screams."

A new video posted online appears to show the horrific aftermath of a large tornado that touched down in central Arkansas Sunday night.

The footage, originally uploaded to Facebook by Bachir Touré, shows piles of rubble and flipped-over vehicles that lay in wake of the destructive tornado that struck the city of Conway. Multiple screams can be heard in the background.

"Those screams at 0:43 are gut wrenching. Prayers to all, so sad," one individual commented on Facebook.

"My heart dropped out of my chest when I heard those screams," another said.

A state official said there have been eight confirmed fatalities as a result of the tornado, according to the Associated Press. Another tornado that spawned near Oklahoma's borders with Kansas and Missouri claimed one life earlier Sunday.
