Which A-List Celebrity Was Spotted 'Prowling' Outside Glenn Beck's California Hotel Room?

Glenn Beck joked on his radio program Friday that his wife "almost called for security" after seeing noted far-left actor Sean Penn "prowling back and forth" outside their Hollywood hotel room for an extended period of time this week.

"My wife ... opens up the door, and there's Sean Penn," Beck related. "He was just, like, walking back and forth in front of our hotel room."

Beck said he doesn't believe Penn knew he was staying there, and it was likely just a coincidence.

"I came back, and I walk in and my wife said, 'Did you see him? Is he gone now?'" Beck said. "I said, 'What are you talking about?' She said, 'Sean Penn! He was just in front of our room, and he was prowling back and forth.'"

Beck said the actor had already left by the time he returned, so he couldn't answer his co-host Stu Burguiere's questions about whether the man is truly "like 4 1/2-feet tall."

Beck speculated that the actor may have been staying at the hotel for a conference, but of course, he wasn't positive.

Media reports indicate that Penn, a notorious globetrotter, was in the area this week. He was spotted by E! Online getting breakfast in Beverly Hills Wednesday with his girlfriend, Charlize Theron.
