Stunning Golf Shot, Not Because the Ball Made It Into the Hole But for What It Did After

"Oh no! Come on!"

For a moment, things were looking really good for Padraig Harrington at the HP Byron Nelson Championship in Texas on Sunday when he landed a 63-yard pitch into the 11th hole.

But the ball did not want to stay in the cup for long and popped right out, robbing Harrington of the eagle.

The ball didn't appear to ricochet off the flag poll but up from the bottom of the cup. (Image source: YouTube) The ball didn't appear to ricochet off the flag poll but up from the bottom of the cup. (Image source: YouTube)

"Oh no! Come on!" the announcer said of the shot.

The Irish golfer still tapped in the ball for the birdie, but he expressed his disappointment at the moment.

Harrington finished within the top 25 at the championship.
