When a Toledo woman and her boyfriend were attacked by a bat-wielding mugger, she knew how to react.
The attacker approached the couple in south Toledo around 5 p.m. Monday evening, reported WTVG-TV, striking the boyfriend in the arm.
Unbeknownst to the assailant, the woman was a concealed-carry permit-holder — and she was armed.
She drew her firearm and shot twice, wounding the attacker.
