PORTLAND, Ore. (TheBlaze/AP) — Police say they warned the man numerous times about his "lack of attire."

And by lack of attire...that would specifically mean nothing on. At all.

But the guy refused to dress himself or leave public view.

And by public view...that would specifically mean in front of a downtown courthouse.

For what it's worth, the man was treating — those within earshot, at least — to his violin-playing skills on Friday.

But in the end, he refused to budge or cover himself, so he had to be carried away by police.

The guy told cops his name is Matthew T. Mglej and that he is 25 years old, but police said they aren't sure of the man's identity.

The man was jailed under the Portland city code forbidding indecent exposure.

Too bad he didn't wait 'til next month; city police refrain from enforcing the code during Portland's World Naked Bike Ride as long as participants keep to the designated route. The event draws about 8,000 riders each June.

Oh, and the brand of the violin also was unknown Saturday morning.
