"It's Superman to the rescue!"
Crystal and Edward Alexis bought a boat on Sunday; by Monday, the newly nautical couple had gotten themselves stranded in a lake, drifting towards a spillway.
Things didn't look good, but Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway saw the couple in distress, and he leapt into action.
KARE-TV happened to have a news crew on-scene, and they caught the whole thing on video.
"It's Superman to the rescue!" laughed onlooker Beth Nelson.

"I just ran down, of course with my two little girls following behind me, trying to stay out of the way, and I figured I'd help them out," Greenway said of his impromptu heroism. "It looked like it was dangerous."
The Alexis' said they were grateful for the rescue, but while the wife said she's "always" been a Vikings fan, the husband was unapologetic and unchanged in his team of choice.
"I'm a Chicago Bears fan, I'm just going to keep it real," he said, drying off.
