Japan's odds of winning the World Cup might be terrible, but the island nation seems to be triumphing in a different combination of a cup and soccer — Cup Noodle and freestyle soccer, to be precise.
In an ad posted to YouTube June 7, Japanese freestyle soccer player Kotaro Tokuda dons a suit of samurai armor, metal face mask and all, and tours Brazil performing feats with his feet.
The ad is a week old, but it's picking up viral steam, with the original video nearing five million views Saturday.
It's not exactly clear how Cup Noodle, the product for which the video is an advertisement, is related to the ability to juggle a soccer ball while wearing armor.
