"Tell me the truth."
Patricia Smith, mother of Benghazi victim Sean Smith, sent a blunt message to Hillary Clinton on Wednesday, demanding the full truth regarding the deadly September 11, 2012, terrorist attacks in Libya.
Reacting to the news that the U.S. government has apprehended one of the Benghazi suspects, Smith said there are still many unanswered questions. She also questioned why it took so long for the government to locate capture a suspect who wasn’t even in hiding.
When asked by host Greta Van Susteren who could provide her with the answers she seeks, Smith singled out former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
“Tell me the truth. Tell me what happened,” she added.
Smith said she wants to know why Clinton didn’t order additional security after it was requested in Benghazi and Americans were left “in harms way.” She also argued the four Americans who died in Benghazi that night were told they were “on your own” and were sent no additional help as terrorist stormed the U.S. compound and CIA annex.
