He Was Just Issued a 60-Day Jail Sentence for Kissing a 14-Year-Old. But Walking Out of Court Something Happened That Prevented Him From Ever Getting There.

"Justice was served and then this happens."

A 51-year-old Cleveland man collapsed as he walked out of a courtroom this week and died just moments after receiving a 60-day sentence for kissing a 14-year-old girl.

Miguel Aybar was convicted of unlawful restraint for kissing the teenage girl, who was his neighbor, and while in handcuffs collapsed in a hallway outside the courtroom.

"I don't know how to feel, really. Justice was served and then this happens. I just feel for the family," the unnamed victim's mother told WOIO-TV, noting that she knew Aybar had high blood pressure but is not sure exactly what caused his death.

To further complicate the feelings regarding this situation, the news station reported that Aybar is the stepfather of the victim's mother's boyfriend.

Aybar's interpreter translated in court that the teen said she had feelings for him, to which the judge replied, "Really? Really?"

"She's 14 years old," the judge yelled.

According to Northeast Ohio Media Group, an autopsy is being conducted Thursday.

The girl's mother said that they're happy justice was issued in the form of jail time, but they never wished for anything like this.
