Incredible Footage Captures Man's Crazy Decision on the Trunk of a Car Going 50 MPH

"I'm really worried."

When Brenda Cruz's children first spotted a man on the back of another car's windshield while they were driving on the interstate, she was worried for the man's safety. Then he did something that made her concerned for the woman and child inside this other vehicle.

Filming the ordeal on her cellphone, Cruz captured the man riding on the truck and said she later saw him smash through the windshield of this other car as it drove in I-77 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Then he climbed inside.

Police are searching for this car and the people involved in the incident that occurred Saturday.

"All of a sudden the kids say, 'There's someone on top of the car on the trunk,’ and I'm like, 'What?'" Cruz told WSOC-TV. "I said, 'Let me get my phone and start recording.'"

Cruz said the car was going at least 50 mph.

"It was really weird. I thought it was a dummy at first," Cruz's 17-year-old son Samuel added, noting that it looked like the man used something sharp to smash the back windshield.

"I'm really worried because I just hope she's OK, you know, with her kid," Samuel Cruz told the news station.

Local police told WSOC they have little information to go off of beyond the video and other calls they received. Police told the news station the driver would likely be responsible if charges are ever brought in this case.
