In much of the northeastern U.S., Fourth of July festivities were cut short by the rains of Hurricane Arthur (now downgraded to a tropical storm).
But if you missed a fireworks show Friday night, here's a close-up romp through some "bombs bursting in air" for your Fourth of July fix.
Jos Stiglingh flew a DJI Phantom 2 drone through the middle of a fireworks display earlier this year in West Palm Beach, Florida, and the results are stunning.
Using the GoPro Hero 3 camera strapped to the drone, Stiglingh captured spectacular footage of the skyward explosions.
