When football fans get tackled by football players, usually the fans are asking for it — figuratively speaking:
It's quite the rare occasion when a football fan literally asks an NFL player for a tackle — and said player obliges. But that's just what A.J.Hawk of the Green Bay Packers dished out recently.
A fan at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament in Lake Tahoe requested Hawk lay a hit on him, and the linebacker — with a crowd standing by licking its collective chops — fulfilled the wish, Fox Sports reported.
More from Fox Sports:
The fan, wearing sunglasses, a white tank top and perhaps a few layers of beer padding, seemed to relish the bro-opportunity to get sacked by Hawk, who is playing in the event this week along with Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Hawk set himself before jogging at and laying a pretty good lick on his willing victim.
All was well, apparently, as Hawk hugged the happy fan after the tackle and high-fived satisfied onlookers.
