First, Someone Threw a Beer Bottle at His Mustang. Then, He Was Pulled Over for Speeding. The Way It All Ended Makes This a Very Bad Day.

That's a pretty bad day.

When a man driving a truck threw a beer bottle at the passenger door of his beloved Mustang, this young man was probably pretty unhappy. When he was pulled over for speeding a short time later, he likely felt like he was having a pretty unlucky day. But when an uninsured driver of a truck smashed into the back of his pulled over Mustang, all he could do was look towards the heavens, almost as if to ask, “Why?”

The unfortunate incident occurred in Montgomery County, Texas, at around 2:30 p.m. on June 20. Deputy Constable Tim Shackalford had pulled over the driver of the Mustang for speeding. It was at this point that the deputy learned that a truck had been following so close behind the Mustang that passed it on the right and threw a beer bottle at the driver’s passenger door, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

The officer then reportedly took the man's driver’s license and attempted to locate the driver of the truck.

Unsuccessful, the deputy pulled back behind the Mustang and ran the young man's driver’s license, which is standard police procedure. What happened next was captured on the deputy’s dash cam.

As the driver of the Mustang leaned against of the back of his car, a white pickup truck came out of nowhere and slammed into the Mustang. The driver of the truck apparently had spilled a 32 ounce Coke in his lap, causing him to become distracted. The truck missed the patrol car by just inches.

Luckily, no one was hurt in the accident.

But that was the only good news for the driver of the Mustang, who can be seen on video throwing his hands up and looking towards the sky for answers after the accident.

As if that wasn’t enough, he later found out that the driver of the truck that hit his Mustang has no car insurance. Police cited the driver of the pickup for not having insurance and failure to drive in a single-marked lane.
