Shut Up, Preacher': After Failed Exorcism This Priest Claims a Demonic Spirit Texted Him Some Bizarre Messages
July 29, 2014
"The author of these texts is an evil spirit who has possessed her soul."
A priest is claiming that a demonic presence has been threatening and berating him in the most uncommon of ways: through text message.
Father Marian Rajchel, a priest in Jaroslaw, Poland, said that his problems began after a failed exorcism he performed on a supposedly possessed girl in his community.

Rajchel said that he started receiving nasty text messages soon after using the ancient ritual to try and rid her of the purported demon, according to UPI.
"The author of these texts is an evil spirit who has possessed her soul," Rajchel said, according to the Austrian Times. "Often the owners of mobile phones are not even aware that they are being used like this. However, in this case it is clear."
And what did these supposedly abusive text messages say?
"She will not come out of this hell. She’s mine. Anyone who prays for her will die," one of the texts reportedly read.
After the priest responded to the initial message, he said he received another text from the demon, calling him "pathetic" and an "idiot."
"Shut up, preacher. You cannot save yourself. Idiot," it read. "You pathetic old preacher.”
The original report about Rajchel's claims appeared in the Austrian Times.
Regardless of where one stands on the likelihood and existence of demonic possession, it is likely that the girl — whom Rajchel said was still possessed even after the exorcism — is the individual and source who is physically composing and sending the text messages.
Whether you believe it is an "evil spirit" guiding these actions is up to you. Let us know what you think below.
