5-Year-Old's 'Live' TV Interview Is Exactly What You Need Right Now

"I've never been on live television before."

Noah Ritter was enjoying the Wayne County Fair in Pennsylvania and had just gotten off a ride when a WNEP-TV reporter stopped him for a brief question. Little did she know this 5-year-old was about to take over her report, microphone and all.

"It was great and apparently, I've never been on live television before," Ritter said, rather articulately. "Apparently, sometimes I don't watch the news because I'm a kid and because every time, apparently, Grandpa just gives me the remote after we watch the Powerball."

As for the ride, Noah went on to explain that it was great because "apparently you're spinning around and every time you get dizzy."

Noah wasn't even distracted by another youngster who popped into the camera's field of view, maintaining his focus and professionalism during the interview.

"I never, ever been on live television," he repeated, just in case you had just tuned in. But, we should point out that this report was probably was taped and not conducted live on the air.

Even though it was his first time on live television, Noah demonstrated a comfort on camera not seen in all 5 year olds. (Image source: YouTube) Even though it was his first time on live television, Noah demonstrated a comfort on camera not seen in all 5 year olds. (Image source: YouTube)

He then filled viewers in on being "scared half to death" when he went down the "super slide."

Watch the report:

While it might seem that Noah could have a future as a news reporter, his grandfather told WNEP the boy, who is starting kindergarten this year, has expressed a desire to be a paleontologist.
