There are multicolor play mats with dangling rattles and even computers designed for the youngest of techies, but sometimes it's the simplest of things that excites them.

Take this video of a baby going crazy over a remote control:

When mommy held the remote in front of the baby boy, his eyes widened, his mouth opened and his whole body seemed to wiggle in excitement. Take the remote away and baby returned to a calm state.

The YouTube user going by Evelyn Terastvatsatrian wrote that her son, contrary to what some thought in the comments, was not scared of the remote but "actually got very excited every time he saw it."

"I found it adorable [and] thought maybe others would too," she wrote.
