At 2:18 in This Video, the Shooter Makes a Rookie Mistake — Once You See the Premise, You'll Understand Why
August 19, 2014
"It was kind of enjoyable, but then I was getting sickened at me feeling enjoyable about it."
What do you get when you bring self-described liberals to the firing range for the first time? A very interesting video (along with a rookie mistake), as BuzzFeed found out.
The folks over at BuzzFeed Yellow decided to bring together a group of five anti-gun proponents and capture their reactions before and after firing guns for the first time. Those reactions were quite animated.
The participants got to shoot a pistol and a shotgun. One guy said he felt "badass" after firing the latter, even though the exercise didn't change his mind. Another said, "It was kind of enjoyable, but then I was getting sickened at me feeling enjoyable about it."
Still, one woman seemed more intrigued, admitting that it was an "adrenaline rush" and even though it's "fu**ed up" and she feels "conflicted," she "would probably come back and do it again."
Watch below for their before-and-after comments, and note the mistake the woman who wants to do it again makes at about the 2:18 mark:
