Both Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will attend the nuptials, Politico reported. The wedding will take place at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, New York.

Wagner hosts "Now with Alex Wagner" on MSNBC; Kass is the executive director of Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" program and a senior White House adviser for nutrition policy. The pair got engaged last year. Obama and Kass have golfed together.

A White House travel schedule said Obama will travel to New York and Rhode Island on Friday to attend two Democratic fundraising events and will stay overnight in Westchester, New York.

The New Rochelle news site Talk of the Sound, which first reported Obama's visit, said business owners were told to "expect a heavy concentration of police, equipment, helicopters and other security in the area throughout the day."

Correction: TheBlaze incorrectly reported the wedding would take place on Friday. It will be on Saturday.
