That's Weak S**t': Poor Guy Gets Slaughtered After Clip of Him Lifting Weights During Ballgame Hits the Internet
September 13, 2014
"doesn't appear to be working"
He's just a guy getting in a workout while apparently watching Saturday's game between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles.
Thing is, cameras caught him in the midst of a set of curls — and the game's announcers laughed pretty hard at the sight.
The Twitter page for MLB.com Cut 4, which is all about "everything awesome" in Major League Baseball, posted the clip with this preface: "Lifting weights is a great thing to do while watching a baseball game – even in person."
"Now for the shoulders..." (Image source: MLB.com)
Then the guy got raked over the coals by more than a few responders:
- "Is that Justin Beiber[sic]? LOL!"
- "gotta get that pump"
- "what a beast"
- "what's this guy's workout called?"
- "doesn't appear to be working"
- "that's weak s**t"
Well, it appears said weightlifter wasn't technically inside Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
One Twitter commenter noted that it looked like he was "in the gym at the Hilton..." so TheBlaze got on the phone with the front desk at the Hilton Baltimore. The helpful voice on the other end confirmed there's a fitness center on the fourth floor of the hotel that overlooks the inside of the stadium so guests can catch a few innings.
"It's a selling point of the hotel," the employee said.
Now let's let him get pumped up in peace.
