What’s Your State’s Most Talked About Food on Twitter? New Map Has the Answer

A new map purports to show the most talked about food item in each state.

Compiled by a research team at the University of Arizona, it draws on data from more than 3.5 million tweets, according to Relevant Magazine.

It’s no surprise that states in the south talk about grits the most, while individuals residing in Texas discuss their brisket.

According to the map, those in Arizona most often discuss tamales, while Californians tweet about caviar.
