A Woman Was Filming the Rain When She Witnessed Something She Did Not Expect

A 10-second video published online earlier this month appears to show lightning strike near a woman who was filming a rainstorm.

"I just happened to be Snapchatting at the moment when lightning struck a few feet in front of me and I caught it on video," Misty Jordan wrote on YouTube. "It took me a minute to realize I was still alive."

The video, posted to YouTube on October 6th, had just under 300 views at the time of publication. It was not clear when or where the incident took place.
