ALLENTOWN, Pa. (TheBlaze/AP) — An argument over spitting led to a man being shot in both legs, authorities in eastern Pennsylvania said.
The 25-year-old victim told police he spit on the sidewalk from near a porch Saturday evening, WFMZ-TV reported.
But man walking nearby took offense — believing he was spit at, WFMZ added — and an argument began.

The victim told police he apologized but said the suspect shot him anyway — once in each leg with a handgun, WFMZ reported. The suspect fled on foot, the station added.
The victim was listed in stable condition Sunday morning as Allentown police searched for the gunman.
He's described as a thin black male about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a braided beard, WFMZ noted.
