Ryan O'Connor was working at Rock & Brews restaurant near Kansas City, Missouri, Tuesday afternoon when he got his "best tip ever" from Katelyn Davis, the wife of Kansas City Royals pitcher Wade Davis.
"I started to walk away when I dropped off their check after they paid, and they said 'Hold on, I was going to give you a tip, but instead we thought you might want this," O'Connor told KMBC-TV.
O'Connor was shocked to see he had just been given a ticket to Tuesday night's World Series opener between the Royals and the San Francisco Giants. And as if a ticket wasn't enough, O'Connor said Davis told him: "You're going to sit with us, we're a pretty cool family."

Justin Olmstead, another Rock & Brews employee, recalled O'Connor coming back to the office asking, "Do you guys mind if I have the night off?"
"And we looked at him, and he showed us the ticket he had in his hand. And we were blown away ourselves that he was able to have that given to him tonight. So we definitely accommodated him and let him have the night off to go celebrate with all the fans at the game." Olmstead said.
Asked whether it was the best tip a server could get, Olmstead affirmed: "Best tip ever."
