There's fast, and then there's blisteringly fast.
A video posted to YouTube by Peach Orchard Deer Processing in Dalzell, South Carolina, shows a man named David skinning and gutting a deer at a pretty incredible clip.
"Done, a minute and 48 seconds," the man holding the camera says at the end, laughing in apparent disbelief. "You go David. A minute and 48 seconds, you go boy."
The video has been picking up viral steam, with hunters on Reddit marveling at how quickly David managed to skin the carcass.
"I've hunted for around 12 years now and never have I gotten skin to come off that easy," one commenter wrote.
Commenters speculated that heat could help make the skin come off easily, or that leaving the guts inside created extra tension which helped make the job zip by.
But mostly, commenters noted David's skill — and his choice of tool.
"I'm sure that knife is sharp as f***," a commenter noted.
