Take a Look at How Journalists with WFOR in Miami React to Republican's Re-Election

Is this a problem?

A pair of journalists with WFOR-TV in Miami were caught reacting in disgust to a Republican incumbent’s re-election on Facebook Tuesday, a development which could spark a debate about the station’s political objectivity.

Miguel Fernandez, WFOR-TV’s executive producer, took to Facebook to break the news that Republican Pam Bondi was re-elected as Florida’s attorney general. He then added his own three-letter commentary.

“Ugh!” he wrote before a news alert from the Associated Press.

A number of his Facebook colleagues responded with things like “DISGUSTING” and “Unbelievable.” However, some of the commenters were fellow journalists, including WFOR reporter Lisa Petrillo, Media Bistro first noted.

“Yuck,” Petrillo wrote.

The post appeared to have been deleted as of Thursday afternoon.

It wasn't immediately clear if WFOR planned to address the issue. TheBlaze has left a message with news outlet and will update this story should we receive a response.
