"You have all my strength, you have everybody's strength in here."

On Friday morning, Teresa Shaw completed her 13th round of chemotherapy, but it's what happened that night that is propelling her forward in her fight against breast cancer.

The Osage, Iowa, mother of three attended the sold-out Garth Brooks concert in Minneapolis with her daughter Friday night, holding a sign that read “Chemo This Morning, Garth Tonight, Enjoying 'The Dance.'”

The country star's song "The Dance" is Shaw's favorite, according to WCCO-TV. When he was singing this song, Shaw asked crowd monitors if she could move closer to try to show Brooks her sign, maybe even get it signed. She was allowed to move forward but she never imagined what happened next.

Footage from the event showed Shaw's sign being featured on the venue's big screen. Then, she was standing right in front of Brooks with him singing the song directly to her. At the end, he gave her his guitar and took up her sign.

"You have all my strength, you have everybody's strength in here, and you go kick cancer's ass!" Brooks said as he paused his show to support Shaw.

Watch the footage showing Brook's inspiring words:

"To give away something like that is just remarkable, and now if I ever have a bad day, I can always go look at his guitar and get inspiration," Shaw told the Des Moines Register.
