Heroic Reality TV Star Asks for Prayer as She Fights For Her Life: 'My Doctors Are Seemingly Giving Up but I Won't
November 13, 2014
"Whatever option I have to LIVE I'm grabbing!"
Reality TV star Diem Brown took to Twitter this week to implore her followers to pray for her as she tackles her third battle with cancer.
Brown, 32, told her fans Tuesday that doctors appear to be giving up, but heroically said that she is fighting on — and asked for "prayers, advice, support and outreach."
"I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won't & can't rollover," Brown wrote. "Whatever option I have to LIVE I'm grabbing!"

The MTV "Real World/Road Rules Challenge" star was admitted to a New York City hospital Sunday, where she has since struggled with the effects of the disease.
Brown overcame ovarian cancer twice before this latest battle, being first diagnosed with the disease when she was just 23 years old.
She had a recurrence in 2012 and then was told in August that cancer was found her stomach and colon; it has since spread to her lymph nodes and liver, People reported.
E! News correspondent Alicia Quarles, who is good friends with Brown, offered an update on the entertainment network Wednesday night, noting that Diem has been hospitalized since Sunday and that the disease had spread, but that friends and family are "not giving up."
"Last night wasn't a good night, but her sister just sent me an update … the doctor said anyone else would not have survived last night," Quarles said. "Diem has asked that I relay to all of you to just pray for her. We believe in the power of prayer."

There is also a fundraiser for Brown on Med Gift, a website she created seven years ago to help individuals facing monumental medical costs.
