Actors and Crew of New Bible Series Stunned By Yet Another Image That Appeared in the Sky

"Splash of hope in the sky."

Just days after actors and crew members working on “A.D.,” the follow-up to Mark Burnett’s and Roma Downey’s “The Bible” miniseries, said they saw a cloud-shaped cross in the sky above their set in Morocco, they're reporting the appearance of a second symbol: a double rainbow.

Downey, an actress who starred in the show "Touched By An Angel," told TheBlaze that the arc recently appeared in the sky while actors were filming a scene in which the Apostle Peter heals a child, calling the symbol a "show stopper" that offered a "splash of hope in the sky."

"Many of our cast and crew including the actors who portray Peter and Stephen were on set. Everyone thought it was beautiful," she told TheBlaze. "Peter [actor Adam Levy] immediately Instagrammed a picture of it."

The double rainbow, much like the clouds that appeared to form a cross, captured the attention of cast and crew members who stopped to snap photos.

"These images are totally authentic and arresting," Downey said. "They awestruck a hardworking crew of 300 people to stop and take photos."

The actress said that she believes the images offer encouragement from up above.

"They feel like signs of encouragement from heaven," she said. "On 'Touched By An Angel,' we always said coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous."

Readers may recall that Downey and Burnett openly discussed other miracles that they say unfolded while filming “The Bible” series. Read about those here.

“A.D.,” a 12-part miniseries, is set to premiere on NBC on Easter Sunday, which is April 5, 2015 — an event that Downey is exuberant about.

"Because of 'A.D.' Millions of people across America will be discussing faith and the birth of the early church around the water cooler," she added. "People will be talking about the power of the holy spirit. How cool is that? That's a blessing for sure!"
