Tense Moment Caught on Video as Walmart Employees Lock Out D.C. Protesters: ‘Let Them Out!’
December 04, 2014
A tense moment out of protests over the Eric Garner police killing by a New York City police officer was caught on video as Walmart employees in Washington, D.C., locked out demonstrators after some marched into the store.
"Let them out!" protesters chanted. There were also chants of "no justice, no peace."
Though the doors were temporarily locked, it didn't appear as if any protesters were actively trying to exit the store. A protester who was in the store during the incident told CNN that they marched around the store and then exited peacefully.
