We all have those moments heading into the gas station — usually when driving an unfamiliar vehicle — when we flat-out forget which side of the pump we should park on.
Is the gas cap on the left side or the right?
Once we figure it out though, all is quickly righted in the world of regular, plus and super.
That wasn't the case, however, for one gas station customer caught on surveillance video Saturday.
She managed that common gaffe — parking on the wrong side of the pump. But her problems had only just begun.
She drove to the other side, but after she exited her SUV again, she realized she had failed to configure it so the gas cap faced the gasoline nozzle.
Getting back behind the wheel, she tried again.
And again.
On her fifth attempt, the poor woman finally got it right — to the laughter of more than a million YouTube users who viewed the clip since it was posted Tuesday.
It's unclear where the gas station is located, but given the look of the license plates and that she and another driver exited from the right sides of their vehicles, it's not likely in the United States.
The YouTube poster's description is apropos: "There's too much stress in the world, hopefully this will cheer you up."
