Bob Beckel's Take on Lack of U.S. Presence at Paris Rally Leaves Viewers Astonished: 'Really Bob???
January 12, 2015
"REALLY?"
Fox News' Bob Beckel defended President Barack Obama for not attending Sunday's rally in Paris, contending that the march aimed at showing unity in the face of terrorism was a "foolish waste of time."
"Let me tell you this. I think that march was a foolish waste of time," Beckel said, arguing Obama "has got his air force in the air bombing ISIS" while "none of those 40 countries do."
"But, you know, the idea that these guys perform a terror act like that and it would gather all these world leaders to a place, together, in a symbolic gesture that would get you nothing except more terror," the Fox News host added.
Beckel's response immediately prompted an uproar on social media, with viewers seemingly astonished by his take on the march that attracted millions.
