Can you tell what's missing from Brian Williams' original report on the 2003 helicopter story?

The firestorm over NBC News anchor Brian Williams' apology for a "conflated" story about a military helicopter he was riding in allegedly taking fire, dominated much of social media and talk radio on Thursday.
