After allegedly pulling out a gun during a fight between her daughter and another girl, a Texas mother was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

One eyewitness told KTRK-TV that Virdiana Alvarez hit her daughter's opponent with a gun several times during the fight after classes Tuesday in a park across the street from Pasadena High School.
"I ran when I saw the gun," the unidentified eyewitness told KTRK.
Alvarez is out of jail on $35,000 bond, the station said, adding that the school district disciplined both students.
