MSNBC Host Unleashes Frustration: Hillary Clinton Email Scandal Is 'Exactly What the Democrats Don't Need Right Now!
March 10, 2015
"For Democrats, this isn't about Hillary."
MSNBC's Ed Schultz expressed his frustration on Monday night over Hillary Clinton's silence amid controversy surrounding her use of a private email account while serving as secretary of state.
"Personally, I really think she needs to step out beyond Twitter and say something as soon as possible," he said on "The Ed Show," according to Mediaite.
Schultz added that it is essential for Democrats to make sure that Clinton does not have problems like this if and when she announces a 2016 bid for the White House, as "Republicans are getting more aggressive" in their approach to the email controversy.
He also warned his viewers that "bad stuff happens when Republicans are in the White House."
"For Democrats, this isn't about Hillary," Schultz said. "This is about winning the White House and getting a candidate that's not going to have problems like this. And to think that it's just going to go away, well it's not."
While some of Schultz's guests seemingly dismissed the controversy as a non-issue, he wasn't so convinced.
"This is exactly what the Democrats don’t need right now!" Schultz said.

Clinton will reportedly address the controversy sometime this week.
