Look Closely: Terrifying Video Reveals the Creature Lurking Feet Away From Florida Man's Backyard
April 16, 2015
"I'm worried ... Someone is going to be attacked here."
It's the last thing you want to see while in your backyard.
A Florida, resident recently captured video showing an eight-to-nine foot bull shark swimming near condos in Bonita Springs.
"I'm worried," Richard Frey, the man who took the video, told WINK-TV. "I won't let our grandkids go in the water. Someone is going to be attacked here."
WBBH-TV reported that residents say it's not the first time and that a shark has been seen lurking in the nearby waters. According to them, sharks keep returning because of chumming, a practice aimed at intentionally luring the creature by throwing bait into the water.
The city of Bonita Springs has told residents to contact the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in Florida as it is the agency with authority to regulate fishing.
