There's So Much Lesbian Stuff': Here's How Pat Robertson Answered Two Very Different Questions Involving Homosexuality

"A little teenage girl doesn’t know what dress she’s supposed to wear, much less what kind of sex she’s supposed to be."

Christian TV host Pat Robertson was confronted with two very different viewer questions about homosexuality on Monday morning's episode of "The 700 Club," telling one woman to forgive her cheating husband and another to try and get her gay daughter into a Christian summer camp that is "on fire for the Lord."

The first segment involved a woman who has been married for 11 years, but who recently found out that her Christian husband cheated on her with another male church member while he was intoxicated.

"He says it was a mistake, that it just happened while they were drunk, and he wants me to forgive him," the woman explained, going on to ask Robertson how she should respond.

The Christian host told the woman that he believes she should forgive and that it wouldn't be worth it to throw her marriage away.

"This guy got drunk? Drunk — he doesn’t know what he’s dealing with. She says, ‘Should I forgive him?’ Of course you should," Robertson said. "If he were this way all the time, if he's a habitual drunk, if he's a habitual homosexual, if he's a habitual philanderer and all the rest of it, then by all means, take a hike. But one time, 11 years, don't throw all of that away."

During that same show, another woman wrote in to explain that her daughter, who has "always been a good Christian and regularly attended church," recently came out as gay and has a girlfriend.

The woman said she tried to talk her out of it, but that the girl isn't interested in abandoning the "LGBT lifestyle."

"I tell you, you ought to pray really hard. Just let her know you don’t approve of it. Let her know she’s not following the commands of the Lord, and just pray that God will straighten her out," he said. "It may be a phase she’s going through. I mean, a little teenage girl doesn’t know what dress she’s supposed to wear, much less what kind of sex she’s supposed to be."

Robertson also said that the media put pressure on young people by pushing a pro-gay message.

"There’s so much lesbian stuff — lesbian this, lesbian the other. So much homosexual that… the media is pushing this as hard as they can possibly push it," he said. "But you might — I don’t know what to do except maybe get her in a camp, a Christian camp in the summer where they’re really on fire for the Lord, and she’ll straighten things out."
