“Honoring Officer Moore is important today,” manager Terry Collins said, according to WNBC-TV. “We will wear these hats with pride.”
The team also lined up with several NYPD officers, remembering Moore with a moment of silence before the game was played.

Moore died Monday after being shot in the face while on duty over the weekend.
