CNN Reporter: Hillary Clinton Campaign Has a 'Five-Alarm Fire' on Its Hands
"It's an interesting situation."
CNN chief national correspondent John King said Wednesday that new poll numbers released show Hillary Clinton's campaign has a "five-alarm" fire on its hands.
King was reacting to a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll that found only 25-percent of Americans award Clinton with a 4-5 rating on trustworthiness.
"It's an interesting situation," King said. "Number one, she is a unique candidate. She's been with us so long."
"She has the resources. She doesn't have a competitive challenger right now," he added. "They are going to spend a lot of their dimes looking at that 25-percent view of hers ... and try to shore up their weaknesses as they go forward."
"Because in a campaign, she has a lot of good numbers, but that one that's the equivalent of a five-alarm fire," King concluded.
