Hollywood megastar Chris Pratt, known for his roles in recent blockbusters "The Lego Movie" and "Guardians of the Galaxy," released a much smaller scale video on Wednesday — but what it shows is more than enough.

Pratt posted a clip of himself teaching the Pledge of Allegiance to his young son, Jack. Pratt said he intended to put it out on Memorial Day, but was in China promoting "Jurassic Word" and couldn't upload the video.

The video quickly racked up more than 800,000 views less than 24 hours after he posted it on Facebook.

Meant to post this on #MemorialDay but I was in China and my phone wasn't working. I'm proud to be American. I'm blessed to get to travel the world! #IPledgeAllegiance
