You've Seen a Lot of Shark Cage Attack Videos, but Unlikely One As Horrifying As This: 'Crazy!

A video posted online this week shows a large great white shark attack a diving cage for about a minute as one of the women inside screams in pure horror.

Hillary Rae, who uploaded the video to YouTube, said that the 11-foot shark targeted the cage during a trip to South Africa.

"While shark cage diving, our cage was attacked by an 11.5 foot Great White shark," Rae wrote online. "The round buoy attached to the side of the cage was bent in half. Some of the lining of the outside blue barrier bar was bitten through as well. It was quite the up close and personal experience!"

Rae added, "The shark was even closer than he appears. I apologize for the shakiness..... and my friend's screaming."

Since being published Tuesday, the footage has amassed more than 400,000 views on YouTube.

"This is without doubt the scariest shark video I have ever seen," one person commented.

"Crazy," echoed another.
