MSNBC "Hardball" host Chris Matthews admitted on his show Tuesday that Democrats won't enforce laws against hiring illegal immigrants because they want votes.
During an interview with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Matthews first called out Republicans for not addressing the issue — but Giuliani was quick to hand responsibility to Democrats as well.
“Neither party has done it,” Giuliani said.
The MSNBC host agreed both sides are to blame, saying the GOP wants "cheap labor. And Democrats want votes. Let’s face it.”
