Trump Knocks Obama for Not Lowering Flags After Chattanooga, Then Cooper Confronts Him With This

"It's my job to push back on these kinds of things."

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump heavily criticized President Barack Obama in a CNN interview Wednesday for not immediately ordering the American flags to be lowered in the aftermath of the deadly Chattanooga attacks.

However, host Anderson Cooper was prepared — and pressed Trump.

"It's my job to push back on these kinds of things," Cooper said. "You didn't lower your flags until the same day the White House chose to."

"Mine were lowered the day before yesterday," Trump quipped back.

"Tuesday," Cooper corrected him. "Same day as the White House."

"Whatever! They were lowered," Trump countered.

"Same day as Obama," Cooper said.

"Again I'm not the United States," Trump said.
