‘No Way!’: Divers Were Swimming in New Zealand Waters When They Turned Around and Saw This

"We saw them twice as they did laps of the island..."

A pair of divers swimming in New Zealand recently stumbled upon a pod of killer whales — and captured everything on video.

Sam Galloway wrote on YouTube that he and a friend were "out for a spearfish/cray dive at Little barrier" when the whales "came cruising past us."

"We saw them twice as they did laps of the island, hunting stingray in the shallows," he wrote.

Galloway added that the adults didn't appear to have much interest in them, but noted that the calves visited them for a "close look."

The two were thrilled by the experience.

"No way!" one of the divers shouted as they surfaced from the water.

The footage was posted online Monday and had amassed more than 30,000 views at the time of publication.
