Last week, Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Bobby Jindal and other GOP candidates found themselves responding to questions about the appropriateness of the term "anchor baby."
- Trump vowed to continue using the phrase.
- Preferring to focus on a solution to the immigration problem, Ben Carson called the controversy "silly."
- Jeb Bush was questioned about the controversy Monday, calling it "ludicrous" and suggesting people "chill out a little bit as it relates to the political correctness that somehow you have to be scolded when you say something."
The term has also been used frequently on news programs. (Watch our supercut on the term "anchor baby" below.)
