St. Paul police on bicycles had words with a man who shouted and shook his cane at protesters, the Star Tribune reported. And while another man yelled “All lives matter,” Black Lives Matter leaders linked arms to separate him from the crowd, the paper added.

“This is what democracy looks like,” one officer said, according to the Star Tribune.
