Donald Trump Rips Club for Growth — and the Organization Responds in Equal Measure

"Worst Kind of Politican."

Presidential candidate Donald Trump blasted the Club for Growth Tuesday night on Twitter, claiming the pro-free market organization once asked him to write them a check for $1 million.

Trump said that when he was asked for the donation, he said, "No way!" The billionaire contended that following the alleged exchange, the organization became "nasty" toward him.

But, the Club for Growth didn't take the online attack from Trump quietly. In its own tweet, the organization disputed Trump's claim and hurled its own insult at Trump.

Trump also turned to Twitter Tuesday night to once again go after Fox News, asking the network and host Bill O'Reilly why Karl Rove is invited to provide political analysis.
