MSNBC's Joe Scarborough Grows So Frustrated With GOP That He Ends Up Shouting on Set

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough grew so frustrated with the Republican GOP candidates on Tuesday morning that he ended up screaming on the set as he urged them to toughen up.

The “Morning Joe” co-host predicted Ben Carson’s poll numbers would “go up” following his statement that the U.S. shouldn’t have a Muslim in the White House.

“It’s a problem until someone strong in the Republican Party stands up and speaks out about it,” Scarborough said. “You have to stand up!”

He continued: “Stop being milquetoast, Republicans, to your base! They like toughness, they like people who have balls, they like people who fight back! Stop withering in the corner or you’re going to end up like Scott Walker!”

To be sure, several candidates have criticized Carson's Muslim comment, including Carly Fiorina, who told NBC late night host Jimmy Fallon on Monday that it was "wrong."
