Watch Anti-Israel Activist's Answer When Asked if Hamas Is a Terror Organization: 'I Think...
October 19, 2015
A group of protesters gathered outside a music venue in New York City Friday to protest a concert by Israeli singer/songwriter Idan Rachel over his outspoken support for his country and his service in the Israeli military.
Mindy Gershon, an activist from from Adalah-NY, which organized the protest, told TheBlaze her organization was protesting Rachel, in part, because he views himself as an ambassador of Israeli culture to the U.S. and the world.
"Idan Raichel calls himself a cultural ambassador for Israel and is an outspoken and uncritical promoter of the Israeli army" read a statement released by Adalah-NY shortly after the event.
Gershon also pointed at the activities of U.S. and Israel saying they were actually much worse, when it comes to terrorism, than Hamas, which is classified by the U.S. State Department as a terrorist organization.
"I think Israel is a terrorist organization," Gershon told TheBlaze. "I think the United States does more terrorism than Hamas."
