HBO's John Oliver Reveals Which GOP Candidate He Doesn't Want on His Show: 'I Don’t Really Have Anything to Say to Him\

"I don't really care about him in any capacity."

HBO's "Last Week Tonight" host John Oliver told a CBS morning news panel that not only did he not care for Republican presidential contender Donald Trump, he also doesn't want him on his show.

The HBO host appeared on CBS' "This Morning" to talk about his show's second season and briefly discussed the 2016 campaign season. When Oliver was asked in jest if he endorsed Trump, the comedian did not hold back on his opinion.

"I don't really care about him in any capacity," Oliver said, adding that he would not have the Republican frontrunner on his show.

"I've not really got anything to say to him," Oliver continued. "He's said everything he wants to say. He has no internal monologue, that man. So it's not like you're going to find the secret nugget he's been holding back. He's an open book, and that book doesn't have very many interesting words in it."

While Oliver discussed the election cycle with the CBS morning hosts, he said American democracy looks like a four-year-old's birthday party and said it includes many debates and "a lot of talking without a great deal being said."
