Bill O'Reilly Goes Off on 'Liar' and 'Villain' Harry Reid, Then Issues a 'Personal Note' to Him

"His objection to Kate's Law is a cynical joke."

Fox News host Bill O'Reilly blasted Democratic Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid on his program Wednesday for blocking a vote on "Kate's Law."

Reid blocked a vote on the law, which would require a mandatory five-year sentence for aggravated felons who re-enter the U.S. illegally after being deported, by objecting to Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-Texas) motion for unanimous consent.

O'Reilly, who has been pushing for the law since an illegal immigrant allegedly murdered Kate Steinle in San Francisco, blasted Reid for the move.

"Mr. Reid is a liar and a villain," O'Reilly said, objecting to Reid's claim the bill would be detrimental to the immigrant community. "This has nothing to do with the so-called immigrant community. This is about fixing a corrupt criminal situation."

"His objection to Kate's Law is a cynical joke," the Fox News host added.

After continuing to hammer away at the Nevada senator, O'Reilly issued a warning.

"And a personal note to you, Mr. Reid. If you think that this is over, you're nuts. We are going to hold you accountable. You, personally," he said.
